Supernova SN2014j in M82

A type Ia thermonuclear supernova occurred on January 8, 2014 in the cigar-shaped galaxy Messier 82.
The first opportunity to observe the supernova did not arise until 9 days later. Despite the slightly foggy sky, I tried my luck and was amazed at the brightness of this huge explosion. At first I could only see the point of light that wasn't supposed to be there, then slowly the galaxy appeared and luckily it slowly cleared up, so I was able to take the first shot.
